FIELD: cleaning equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hydrovacuum suction cups connected by pipelines through distributing unit with vacuum pump and washing liquid reservoir and drive for moving suction cups over surface to be treated. Distributing unit is regulated by control system. Drive is formed as linear vacuum engine. Apparatus is further provided with mechanism, which changes direction of its motion, slide and guides, that are connected one with another so as to form right angle between them. One of guides is fixed on one suction cup, whose body is pivotally connected with engine stem, and is positioned in parallel with suction cup longitudinal edges. Other guide is positioned in parallel with transverse edges of suction cup. Slide is positioned in guides for progressive motion along them and is rigidly connected with other suction cup, whose body is pivotally connected with cylinder of linear engine. Mechanism for moving apparatus is positioned in guide connection zone. Cylinder is positioned at an angle to guides. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction, enhanced reliability in operation and improved quality of cleaned surface. 3 cl, 2 dwg
