FIELD: plastic working of metals, in particular, mechanical cutting tools with hand drive. SUBSTANCE: electric scissors have electric machine connected with drive, which is provided with output slide, two immovable cutters, one movable cutter, fork, shaft, H-shaped beam with unequal strips, stud adapted to be received in shaped opening of movable cutter. Support is fixed to casing of slide. During movement of slide, its motion is transmitted to part. Inner surface of support abuts against curved rear part of movable cutter. As a result, support inner surface and curved surface contact line is moved from rear part of support to its front part and movable cutter body is pivoted on shaft for some angle. As movable cutter pivots, its curved corrugated surface changes its position relative to cutting surface for respective angle. When these surfaces intersect along cutting lines, shear points of metal sheet are offset from rear part of cutting edge of both immovable cutters to front part. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
