FIELD: vacuum pumps and compressors. SUBSTANCE: the case accommodates the stator wheel with a profiled inner surface and end face covers. A rotor with grooves is concentrically mounted on the shaft in the stator wheel. Separating plates are placed in the grooves for reciprocal motion and formation of working chambers in the wheel. The profile of the wheel inner surface is formed by two arcs with a radius bearing against the central angle, with the vertex in the rotor center and located within the range calculated in the preset relation, and by two profiled arc connected to them. Each of these arcs in the points of intersection with the first arcs has coinciding normals. In the point of intersection of the normal to the profiled arc coincides with the direction, of the major axis of symmetry of the wheel inner surface. In the sections from the points of intersection with the arcs to the point of intersection with the major axis of symmetry the arc radius monotonously increases by the value of the maximum fall-out of the separating plate from the rotor groove.
