FIELD: electrical engineering; nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: single-phase synchronous generator of various design forms has stationary frame 2, inductor with shaft 1, yoke 3, and pole system 2 of 2p alternating-polarity permanent magnets, armature with laminated ring, 2p hooked laminated stacks 5 and ring winding 6 secured on frame coaxially to inductor shaft. One of generator options has its stacks 5 secured on frame 3 each of them facing inductor on one end surface and abutting against ring 7 on other end surface. Other generator design form has hooked pole stacks secured on frame but tangentially shifted from each other through 2π/p deg. One end of stacks abuts against ring and other one faces inductor. Third and fourth options are characterized in that half of their stacks are mounted on additional shaft and other half, on frame and relatively shifted through 2π/p deg. Clearance is provided between ring and stacks on additional shaft or between all stacks in these design forms. EFFECT: improved specific power characteristics. 6 cl, 8 dwg
