FIELD: oil filtration, predominantly in internal-combustion engines of motor cars. SUBSTANCE: proposed filter comprises two cleaning stages. First stage is made in form of perforated, conically shaped shell faced with filtering material on its external side and having its greater base in contact with filter body. Shell is provided with open grooves directed towards greater base. When first stage is clogged up, filtering material detaches itself from filter body under effect of increasing pressure difference, thereby forming by-pass slots acting as additional by-pass valve. Second oil cleaning, stage is formed as corrugated shutter. When filter is in extreme situations, additional by-pass valve is actuated and in this case oil partially comes unpurified into lubricating system. Proposed filter fully protects engine from getting of coarsely dispersed abrasive inclusions into it and neutralizes acids. EFFECT: service life of engine is considerably extended. 2 cl, 2 dwg
