FIELD: production of complex oxide materials on the base of chromium having abrasive and pigment properties. SUBSTANCE: method involves reduction precipitation of dichromate-thiosulfate-carbonate solutions, their neutralization with the help of aqueous solution of ammonium (25-40 % mother solutions being recycled) and heat treatment within 800-1000 C. Said reduction precipitation is carried out at stoichiometric amount of sodium thiosulfate and ammonium dicarbonate. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
