FIELD: electrolytic processes and equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of medium-temperature fluorine electrolyzer. Electrolyzer contains casing 11, cover 11, gas-separating arrangement 12, coal-graphite anodes with, at their surface, conducting rods 4 and gas-collecting channels 17, box-like louver cathodes 9, and heat- exchange system. Conducting rods are protected against deleterious medium with magnesium bushings and powder calcium fluoride charge 19, which is located in annular gape 18 between bushing and conducting rod. End couplings of bushing and anode plate 20 are sealed with epoxide composition. Channels on the surface of anode 17 are constructed with uniformly increasing depth of channel from zero value in lower part of anode to 0.8-1.0 its height in upper part. Louvers of cathode louver box 9 are mounted at angle 20-25 deg. to vertical. Anode-facing end edges of louver plates are cut at angle 25-30 deg. Louver boxes in their bottom part are provided with locating combs 24. Gas-distribution arrangement 12 is installed on flanges and electrically insulated from cover and casing with dielectric insertions. Bottom of casing is covered with electric insulation composition 7. EFFECT: improved make-up of anode gas, increased yield of fluorine in respect to current, prolonged turnaround time, and reduced cost of anode assembly manufacture. 3 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
