FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method refers to repair and construction of rolled and mastic roofing based on cement slurry layer placed over thermal insulation course in warmth-keeping covering. In repair and construction of roofing, holes are made in cement slurry layer with cross-sectional area of 0.2-40 cm2 at spacings of 5-80 cm and these holes are filled with friable or loose material. In repair, these holes are made by reaching through holes made in water-proofing carpet which are sealed off afterwards. Making holes in cement slurry course ensures equalization of pressure of steam-air mixture in covering at both sides of cement slurry course and prevents formation and growing of swells in water-proofing carpet without disturbing its continuity. Arrangement of holes will not lead to penetration of atmospheric precipitation into covering and will not increase moisture transfer in it. Specific spending for protection of water-proofing carpet from swell is not over 2% of total cost of repair and construction of roofing. EFFECT: high efficiency.
