TOWER-TYPE MULTISTORY AUTOMATIC PARKING STATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for parking cars in city conditions. Parking station is in the form of round tower with its main framework made up of columns arranged in external and internal rings which create central elevator shaft and car parking stalls on each storey. Located in elevator cabin is turning distributor with comb-like supporting platforms and fixing yokes. Columns of external and internal rings are connected by channel-section bars which form rectangular windows. Windows are closed with plates of composite material or glazed frames. Frames and plates are attached to columns and bars through sealing strips. Arranged on each storey are eight parking stalls. Parking station can be provided with elevator cabin in the form of rectangular frame made up of two box-section bars and two horizontal beams. Mounted on lower beam is guide member for distributor. Station can be provided with car receiving and car delivery posts located at ground floor and having comb-like platforms and fixing yokes, rails, guide troughs arranged before receiving post. Located after receiving post is lifting gate. Station can be made with combs and yokes, rails mounted on turning frame, also it can be provided with adjusting posts located in several stalls of ground floor. There is also version with spiral stairs arranged between car bumpers and columns of external ring and provided with mini-elevator. Some of station floors can be buried below ground level.
