FIELD: garage equipment and facilities. SUBSTANCE: barrier is of compact modular design in form of self-contained unit which facilitates its building-in into different garage arrangements Barring members- buffer is turned around horizontal axle by means of buffer system turning mechanism which has levers, spring, buffer and driven toothed sector. Buffer system is locked in working and inoperative positions by means of fixing arrangements made up of V-shaped joint of thrust lever and cam lever. Thrust lever engages with thrust plate, and cam lever, with disk secured on shaft coupled with output shaft of motor. Fixing means are coupled with buffer system by means of driving toothed sector installed coaxially with cam disk and placed in meshing with driven toothed sector.
