DEVICE FOR DELIVERING FOAM INTO WELL Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: device is used for extracting water and drill cuttings from wells before locating explosive charges in them. Device has tank for foam generating liquid connected through non-return valve with dosing unit which by means of pipelines is connected with compressor and dewatering hose with head piece. Dosing unit is made in the form of vessel with vertically located pipes secured in strip which is built in vessel. Clearance is created between lower ends of pipes and bottom of vessel, and upper ends of pipes are closed with screens and located in zone of maximal velocity of air stream delivered from compressor through pipeline into vessel and further into pipeline connected to drying hose with head piece. To produce abundant foam of high multiplicity, vessel through adjusting valve is connected by pipeline with compressor. Sensor is installed in vessel under strip with pipes for checking level of foam generating liquid. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
