FIELD: construction machinery. SUBSTANCE: this relates to hydropneumatic impact-action devices for operating members of construction and road-building machines and can be used as replaceable working attachment to excavators and loaders for loosening frozen ground, crushing large lumps of rock, etc. Hydropneumatic hammer has body with passages, coaxial rod of tool and striker with internal axial and radial holes and circular bores located in body with possibility of axial displacement, return, accumulating and atmospheric spaces arranged in hammer body. Installed between pressure and accumulating spaces is valve which is made with additional space limited by piston permanently connected with return space. Valve in combination with body and striker form together above-valve, intermediate and buffer spaces which at all stages of hammer working cycle ensure equal flow rate of working fluid at outlet from return space connected with additional space, flow rate of working fluid delivered to pressure space periodically connected with above-valve, intermediate and buffer spaces, thus preventing flow pulsation and adding to service life period of components in hydraulic return line.
