FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator has two flexible members with friction spacer located between them; friction spacer is made form of bushes with lengths of rope wound on them; some bushes are mounted on fasteners which are used for interconnection of flexible members. Each flexible member is made from flexible ○-shaped bands alternating in mutually perpendicular directions lateral surfaces of each band are located at angle of 135 deg relative to base and end are parallel to base; they are provided with holes through which fasteners are passed.
