FIELD: geophysical methods of examinations, specifically continuous method of vibration seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with proposed method of seismic prospecting seismic signal from vibrator repeated periodically is sent into geological medium in one location and is recorded, vibrations of geological medium are received in second location. Vibroseismic signals received under different excitation cycles are summed up in step, summary signal is recorded. Then correlation of recorded sent signal with received vibroseismic summary signals is carried out. After end of recording of summary received vibroseismic signal its initial part equal to time interval during which sent signal reaches deepest part of examined structure and returns to point of reception is recorded in addition. Then correlation of recorded sent signal with summed up extended signal is performed. In compliance with another version of realization of invention first its final part equal to time interval during which sent signal reaches deepest part of examined structure and returns to point of reception is recorded, then its complete copy is recorded and correlation of received extended sent seismic signal with received summed up vibroseismic signals is performed.
