FIELD: optical instrument engineering, applicable as a device for optical laying of geodetic instruments, sporting guns and similar devices that require sight laying on the object. SUBSTANCE: optical sight light source 1 is fastened to sight leaf 3 of device 4, that is subject to laying on object 5, with a lateral shift relative to the sight line and faces object 5. The axis of light source 1 is tied in with the sight line by means of an optical system made in the form of rectangular corner reflector 2 rigidly installed on the far end of sight leaf 3 of device 4 relative to light source 1. The hypotenuse face of reflector 2 is positioned orthogonally to sight leaf 3, faces light source 1 and is furnished with mark 6 installed in the axis of light source 1. For minimum overlapping of the field of vision by the reflector the ribs of the hypotenuse face of reflector 2, common with the leg faces, are positioned as follows: one - in the axis of light source 1, and the other - in the sight line, and mark 6 is made as a notch orthogonal to these ribs. EFFECT: simplified design, at a low cost provides for a high accuracy of laying on the object and operation at twilight. 2 cl, 9 dwg
