LUGGAGE SUITCASE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: luggage suitcase has rectangular container with side wall, end walls and top wall with cover and bottom wall. Suitcase is provided with wheels mounted to bottom wall and rigid handle. Handle had lower end and device, which secures it on inner surface of end wall for movement between retracted position, in which handle is retracted into container, and extended position, in which handle is entirely extended above container. Suitcase has device for turning lower end of handle to suitcase for providing forward inclination of handle enabling pulling of suitcase and device for retaining handle in intermediate position between entirely retracted and entirely extended position to facilitate pushing of suitcase by handle, while it is moved for small distances. Device for securing handle on inner surface of end wall has elongate pipe attached to one end wall. Rigid handle is made elongate and positioned for sliding within pipe. EFFECT: increased convenience, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 9 cl, 16 dwg
