FIELD: methods of cleaning filters. SUBSTANCE: method of cleaning filter at supply of medium to be filtered and discharge of filtrate and dirt contains several hollow filter elements connected in parallel; their lateral filtering surface is surrounded by filtrate discharge cavity; filter elements have two inlets at their ends. Connection of inlets is alternated by means of movable distributor: when medium to be filtered is supplied, opposite inlet is closed and when dirt is discharged, the first inlet is closed.
