FIELD: plastic metal working; may be used on tube rolling aggregates including helical rolling mills and hot drawing benches working with use of sleeve-type blank. SUBSTANCE: method comprises use of waste missile body as initial blank. 20-40% of body length is cut off from ogival variable, diameter part. Sleeve-like different-thickness part of body is subjected to helical profiling along outer and inner surfaces by three inclined rolls mounted in floating shaped mandrel with axial end-push effort providing constant contact of mandrel end and sleeve bottom. Reduction degree is 3-30%. Sleeve-type semifinished product on shaped mandrel is pushed through row of drawing dies or plates. EFFECT: higher accuracy of dimensions.
