FIELD: machine-tool industry. SUBSTANCE: machines for making patterns with a die-rolled section or fragments of a variable section in longitudinal, lateral and vertical directions on blanks of wood, plastic, glass, metal, stone and other materials. Machine has a platform positioning mechanism, platform carries spindle head 6 with milling tool 58 installed in lateral, longitudinal and vertical directions relative to working table 3 with independent control of amplitude and wavelength of pattern vertical section, both synchronous with and independent of wavelength and lateral section of pattern. It is attained due to equipment of vertical drive of platform 5 with slide 36 linked with plate 37 engageable with platform 5 by means of cavity 38 enveloping plate 37, and connection of slide 36 to crank 42, whose shaft 44 is parallel (in the particular case - aligned) with output shaft 18 of reduction gear 20 of transverse drive of platform 5 and longitudinal drive of working table 3.
