FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: to remove fullerenes from fulleren- containing soot, the latter is heated with microwaves to 300-800 C and stripped fullerenes are further condensed. Microwave-aided heating is effected at frequency from 433 to 24125 MHz under protective gas atmosphere or under pressure less than or equal to 1000 mbar. Process is carried out for several seconds to prevent decomposition of fullerenes. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl
