FIELD: cartridges for smoothbore guns. SUBSTANCE: cartridge has cartridge case, primer, powder charge, spacer, shot shell and a plastic wad-container. Skirt on wad-container has a cut out section in the form of chamfer or segment, whose size is selected depending on required accuracy pattern of shots. Chamfer in part of skirt wall brings asymmetry in the process of aerodynamic streamlining of wad- container by air, which results, in its turn, and release of shot shell.
