FIELD: adaptable high-explosive rocket projectiles with a controlled fragmentation field. SUBSTANCE: fragmentation rocket projectile uses body with nozzles, detonating solid propellant charge, jacket with an explosive charge and detonator, percussion-time fuze with pyrotechnic and detonating grooves. Projectile is fired either in usual way with employment of solid propellant charge as burster, or in burnout conditions providing for additional velocity and clearing-out space for movement of propellant charge jacket. In the latter case, when projectile approaches target, charge is bursted in jacket, and the latter is propelled to inner surface of body and destroys it, which makes it possible to form flow of fragments directed in projectile axis. Provision is made for projectile design with front propelling block consisting of propellant charge and layer of prefabricated injurious components made of steel or heavy alloys, for example, alloys based on tungsten.
