FIELD: teaching aids, objective evaluation of answers of drivers in knowledge of traffic regulations during examinations, objective evaluation of their abilities to choose optimum route of movement of motor vehicle on diagram at pretrip briefing of drivers. SUBSTANCE: device includes plotting board with magnetic elements, reading unit composed of two magnet-controlled elements and two magnetization elements, indication unit and evaluation unit. It is also provided with simulators of road signs made in the form of plates which front sides carry pictures of road signs and reverse side is fitted with attachment members. Device is equipped with protective screens mounted on magnetic elements. Simulators of road signs can be mounted on magnetic elements or on protective screens. Ring attachment members, protective screens and base of plotting board are produced from ferromagnetic material. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced cost. 5 dwg
