FIELD: radio engineering; radiolocation; communication and radio measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: frequency discriminator presents substrate of piezoelectric material with sound absorbing coat on butts carrying input and two output interdigital converters deposited on it and connected to output detecting circuit. Output converters are placed on one side at equal distance from input converter. Two reflecting structures are arranged between input and output converters on different sides of longitudinal axis. Separating sound absorbing coat is positioned between reflecting structures along longitudinal axis. Increased precision of determination of momentary frequency of input signal is obtained thanks to reduced pulsations of discrimination characteristic by oscillation of signal of multiple transmission of surface acoustic waves. Technically this is solved by selection of relative positions of input and output converters and insertion of reflecting structures.
