FIELD: devices for cleaning and polishing surfaces, aircraft for example. SUBSTANCE: device has housing 1 with tangential nozzles 2, end seals 3 and adjustable pressure air chamber 4. Housing 1 is connected via pipe line 5 with evacuation system 7 and detergent supply system 7. Rotor 8 mounted in housing 1 has holes 9 for passage of gas from gas source inside rotor 8 through pressure regulator 10. Rotor 8 is made in form of hollow ring connected with adjustable pressure air chamber 4. Brushes 13 are articulated on rotor 8. Interior of rotor 8 is brought in communication with adjustable pressure air chamber 4 through holes 15. Each brush 13 consists of housing with pneumatic chamber and jacket with working members (nap). Interior of rotor 8 is brought in communication with interior of pneumatic chamber of brush 13 by means of pipe line. Availability of pneumatic chambers makes the brushes adaptive to surface being treated and automatic maintenance of pressure inside them provides for required stress at contact spot irrespective of deformation of chambers, thus excluding damage to surface, increasing productivity and improving quality of jobs.
