FIELD: metallurgy, particular, methods of concentration of gold-containing sands on sluicing devices. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes supply of material to sluice, separation of coarse gold in the sluice head section, classification of material into classes ± 6 mm, withdrawal of fractions of class - 6 mm with their subsequent sluicing on sluice of shallow filling, repeated classification of material of classes +6, -110 mm in the tail part of sluice of deep filling into fractions of classes + 8 mm, withdrawal of classes +8, 110 mm into dump, and classes of -8 mm get into hydraulic trap where they are subjected to disintegration with directed flow of water with separation of fine gold. The sluicing device has trough, screens, sluices of deep and shallow filling. Sluice of shallow filling is installed parallel to sluice of deep filling, and device is additionally provided with collecting troughs, pulp ducts and pulp distributors and hydraulic trap.
