FIELD: methods of production of nonferrous metals. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes melting of wastes of bismuth alloys, addition of elementary sulfur at temperature of 280-350 C, successive treatment of produced melt with lead chloride and flux consisting of mixture of sodium hydroxide with 10-17% of soda from weight of flux, and separation of dross. melt is treated with lead chloride with its consumption of 3.1-3.8 for 1 kg of cadmium in wastes of melt at temperature of 380-450 C. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl
