FIELD: excavating machinery. SUBSTANCE: this excavator relates to small-size earth-digging machinery primarily intended for performing low-scale and dispersed earth-digging operations. Excavator is of low specific power consumption machine and of low amount of metal needed to manufacture, with small overall dimensions of working attachment, simple kinematic scheme and easy mounting and dismantling. Swinging of boom together with arm and working member is executed at gradual speed increase. Reducing boom elevation angle is accompanied with simultaneous changing of boom swinging angular velocity which increases with enlargement of horizontal swinging angle for dumping of working member and with reduction of aforesaid angle at return to digging position. For this purpose, its working attachment is provided with boom operation hydraulic cylinders located at angle to each other, and their rods are interconnected by axle seated in walls of hollow ball support interacting with boom. Bodies of hydraulic cylinders by means of hinges with two degrees of freedom are installed on mobile undercarriage, and vertical rotating part of swing column is made in the form of short freely rotating pintle.
