FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for low-class voltage of power transmission. Long bearing structure of upright in support of triangular cross-section with shaped side faces and bands with stiffening ribs of curved sheet material is made in the form of hollow (frameless) truncated pyramid with two adjacent side faces made of V-shape curved continuous metal sheet in the form of congruent planes formed as trapeziums, and with one side face having flat surface formed by components of grate for example by struts arranged over height of aforesaid side face and attached to outer surfaces of flat stiffening ribs. These ribs are formed by end bent parts of same continuous sheet in the form of parallelograms located symmetrically at different planes of lattice side face in common plane with it. They adjoin at incline of obtuse angle to planes of two adjacent side faces. Angle bands of load-bearing structure are formed by ribs of bends of this sheet strip in the form of three side ribs of truncated pyramid. Pyramidal shape of support upright made from continuous metal sheet of special configuration and from outer lattice components enhances mechanical strength of structure.
