FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, effective development is ensured of placer deposits with high incline of bed. Method implies preliminary formation of basin, creation of reservoir in basin with positioning in it on float-based platform of interconnected mining machine and benefication equipment, also cutting of production layer face, washing and concentration of rock mass and dumping of tailings into worked-out area. Movement of float-based platform in basin is effected by performing longitudinal and lateral motions relative to placer deposit with the help of reactive energy of water stream, and mining machine on float-based platform is displaced parallel to front of work at cutting face.
