FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and can be used in mining of placer deposits. Method includes the preparation of a placer, opening of the pit to the raft, placement of an excavator on the rear of empty rocks located on the sands, excavation of overburden rocks, dumping of a dump on the raft and its buildup. Barren rocks of a stope are moved into a worked-out space with their laying on the raft, the slopes of the dumps and the sides of the pit. Sands mining is carried out by laying them on the barren rocks in bulk, flooding and dredging. Dump of the overburden rocks is placed between the dredge moves. Dump building is carried out from the periphery to the center by dumping overburden rocks with their segregation into internal slopes of the embankment to a height exceeding the thickness of the heaps of sands.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of dredging development of placers by reducing the loss of sand in cross-path stopes.
