FIELD: lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: projector type headlights can be used as fog lights and, by replacing outer diverging lenses by smooth lenses, headlight can be used as search light with light beam adjustable in width. Headlight has diffuser which can be furnished with lenses. Light source is placed close to focus of collecting lens on its main optical axis.
