FIELD: technical physical, design of spectral equipment intended for registration of spectra of optical range of wave lengths of heavily absorbing substances and objects of any extent. SUBSTANCE: two-beam interferometer of interference spectrometer is manufactured in the form of prism of total internal reflection made of two half-prisms each presenting tetrahedron which has right angles and acute angle equal to 45 deg so bonded along light dividing face that sum of acute angles amounts to right angle. In this relative refractive index of each half-prism is found from relation n ≥ sin-1u, where u is angle of normal with face of total internal reflection of interferometer and straight line with which axial beam of bundle reflected from face of total internal reflection matches. Besides them interference spectrometer has additional dish compartment where working planes of guides of sample are matched with faces of total internal reflection.
