SUBSTANCE: introduced in a type 1 servo system is an extrapolated coordinate computation channel using the information on the range and vertical velocity of the on-board radar carrier, and when the error signal exceeds the threshold, the vertical velocity computation channel compensates for the system error conditioned by the target altitude manoeuvre.
