FIELD: selecting target most dangerous for us and most convenient for attacking it by fighter. SUBSTANCE: method depends on computing minimum of quadrature- linear functional including both parameters testifying to target danger and those favorable for attacking it. If identified target has better aircraft performance characteristics, functional summand including requirements for native protection plays great part in minimizing it. Otherwise summand characterizing attack capabilities is of vital importance. In this way dangerous target most convenient for attacking it considering current situation and capabilities of equipment on board fighter and target can be detected. EFFECT: enhanced safety for fighter. 4 dwg
