FIELD: radio communication. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to portable radio communication devices kept predominantly in pocket if user, to transceivers of system of personal call (pagers). Proposed portable radio communication device has transceiver board with output formed by high- and low-potential conductors placed inside dielectric case and radiator manufactured in the form of two parallel conductors of saw-tooth shape with electromagnetic coupling between them. One of them has electric length approximately equal to half of working length of wave and is open on both ends. Second one has electric length approximately equal to quarter of working length of wave. One end of first conductor is located near one of ends of second conductor. High-potential conductor of output of transceiver is connected to it. Second end of second conductor is positioned close to middle of first conductor. Both conductors lie in one plane perpendicular to surface of board of transceiver and surface of user's body. Proposed device differs by new structural make of radiator in the form two parallel conductors of saw-tooth shape with electromagnetic coupling between them. EFFECT: increased reliability of radio communication, 1!5 fold reduced power consumption. 3 dwg
