FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves seeding perennial grasses with low density of stand on ridge slopes and furrow bottom, with seeding being conducted prior to planting row crops. Seeding norm of perennial grasses at row bed and slope boundary is 1/3 the seeding norm at row slope and furrow bottom. Grass seeding norm at portions, along which units for handling crops or vegetables, seeded or planted on rows second year after grass seeding, travel is higher by 40-50%. EFFECT: reduced erosion processes on row slopes and furrow bottom; inhibited growth of weeds and reduced number of passes effectuated by handling equipment, increased soil fertility. 2 cl
