FIELD: animal products sanitation. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing animal products to ultraviolet radiation with intensity of 8-10 Wt/cub m and wave length of 250-260 nm for 1-2 hours through each 10-12 hours of defrostation process. Apparatus has chamber with overhead tracks. Bactericidal lamps are staggered in pairs on illuminators at a distance of 0.4-1.5 m from product to be treated so that ultraviolet beam angle is 30-90 deg relative to product surface.
