FIELD: medicine; prosthetics and prosthetic engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed femur prosthesis comprises pivotal slider made in form of hollow cylindrical casing housing piston rod and adjusting screw. Movable piston rod divides casing into two compartments, one of which is formed as damper filled with balls. Prosthesis further comprises link member carrying, arranged in succession thereon, resilient element and sleeve. Lower part of link member carries stop. Prosthesis also comprises knee joint having supporting platform and anterior link which carry movable element with fixative. In order to eliminate knocking as slider and supporting platform come to join anterior link of knee joint, coupling between slider and platform, on one side, and anterior link of knee joint, on other side, is made in form of conically shaped sleeve provided with conical hollow-body bolt, interior of which is threaded to enable axial movement. EFFECT: longer service life of knee joint due to simpler design; possibility to control friction during walking at different speeds with help of controller arranged on femur prosthesis. 3 dwg
