FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: prosthesis is provided with device consisting of parts of preset angular displacement parameters. These parts move relative to one another in sagittal plane. Device also includes flexible member characteristic of which may be adjusted in compliance with mass-inertial values of patient. Upper part of device is rigidly connected to take-up sleeve and lower part, to crus tube. As a result, prosthesis for short inactive stump of crus with spring-loaded bending in knee assembly is obtained. EFFECT: reduced muscular power consumption in walking. 2 dwg
