FIELD: agricultural engineering; grain cleaning and grading machines. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic separating device includes two pneumatic systems connected in series and provided with diametral fan and appliances for control of air flow velocity; besides, these systems are provided with air supply passages, pneumatic separating passages having inlet for grain to be cleaned and outlet for cleaned grain and settling vessel provided with mechanism for discharge of settled admixtures. Lower portion of settling vessel of pneumatic primary cleaning system is located in upper portion of settling vessel of pneumatic secondary cleaning system. Inlet port of diametral fan is brought in communication with settling vessel of pneumatic secondary system by means of air evacuating passage. Upper portion of inlet section of air supply passage of pneumatic primary cleaning system is brought in communication with upper portion of inlet section of air supply passage of pneumatic secondary cleaning system by means of bypass passage. Air evacuating passage crosses end part of pneumatic separating passage of pneumatic primary cleaning system in form of separate connecting passages. Arrangement of lower portion of settling chamber of pneumatic primary cleaning system in upper portion of settling chamber of pneumatic secondary cleaning system excludes vortex motion of air flow, thus excluding waste of energy.
