FIELD: printing equipment. SUBSTANCE: reproduction of symbols is carried out with the aid of rods of magnetic ink solidifying in magnetic field pushed by electric discharges during printing from channels of printing head. Printing head is equipped with permanent magnet to create magnetorheological effect. Wire from pulse distributor positioned on printing head and coupled via sliding contact and spring-loaded bus to output of former of controlling signals which inputs are connected to storages of Russian and Latin alphabets is built into wall of each channel. Selection of pulse combinations is performed by pressure on symbol key. EFFECT: enhanced speed and improved quality of reproduction. 11 dwg
