FIELD: air defence; detection and destruction of winged missiles approaching object being protected at supersonic speed and low altitude. SUBSTANCE: several cable with sensors attached to them at equal distances from one another are laid across expected motion of flying vehicle. Sensors includes microwave and light radiation receivers and code generator of sensor. Outputs of receivers are connected with input of code generator through AND gate and therefore compilation of code through cable into computer may be effected at operation of both receivers: microwave radio altimeter of flying vehicle and light radiation from flying vehicle engine flame. Since radiation of radio altimeter is directed downwards in form of cone, altitude of flying vehicle is determined by number of excited sensors of computer. Since coordinates of each sensor are available in computer, it generates control signals for weapon which is aimed to point of its appearance in zone of actual fire. At moment determined beforehand, computer gives signal for destruction. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of hypothetical point in space where flying vehicle is the most likely to appear when flying vehicle approaches this point. 2 cl, 3 dwg
