FIELD: ironing of clothes and their products. SUBSTANCE: material under treatment is subjected to action of a station magnetic field under pressure in the area of heating. The magnetic field may have a heterogeneous structure. The magnetic field may act on the liquid being evaporated. Pressure on the material under treatment may be built up by its interaction with the magnetic field. The iron is furnished with a source of static magnetic field built in the bottom for producing of a magnetic field layer before its external side. The source of static magnetic field may be made in the form of an electromagnet whose poles face the bottom. The magnetic field layer thickness exceeds that of the material under treatment.
