FIELD: water surface clearing equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to environment pollution control. Device has auger located in cylindrical housing, settler divided by movable partitions and connected to rear end of auger housing. Also provided is oil collector separated from settler by movable partitions. Made in auger housing are two longitudinal oil intake slots: main and additional. Additional slot is located in head part of auger housing and its length is commensurable with diameter of auger housing. With that, first flight of auger is located from head end of auger shaft at distance which is equal to length of additional oil intake slot, and pitch of first auger flight is 2-3 times larger than pitch of its final flight. Oil intake slots and all movable partitions are provided with screens having rhombic openings installed on upper edges of partitions so that they close aforesaid slots respectively.
