FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used at stage of drilling over of oil field in development of multiple-bed oil pool. Oil is taken from pool through producing wells with pumping of working agent through injection wells. If in wells located close to design contour of oil-bearing area there is large amount of oil-containing interlayers with large proportion of oil and sufficient difference between depths of oil bed roof and water-oil contact, oil-bearing contour is widened and wells are located within limits of new oil-bearing contour. At small number of oil-containing interlayers and their low oil-bearing capacity, contour of oil-bearing area is narrowed. Wells are arranged inside newly established oil-bearing contour.
