A method for developing a water-oil zone of an oil field includes perforating a production well and extracting oil through the production well. Previously, at the stage of construction of a production well in the area of the oil-water zone of the oil deposit, geophysical studies of the reservoir of the development object are carried out, the level of oil-water contact, oil saturation coefficients Kosat and the thickness hosat of oil-saturated layers of the reservoir to the boundaries of the oil-water contact are determined, deep oil samples are taken, gas saturation pressure Рsat and formation pressure Rf is determined. Next, the total thickness of all oil-saturated layers Hosat is determined, then the weighted average coefficient of oil saturation of the reservoir up to the oil-water contact Kosat.w.av. is determined according to the formula Kosat.w.av. = ((hosat1 * Kosat1) + (hosat2 * Kosat2)+…+ (hosatn * Kosatn))/Nosat, fractions of units, where hosat1 is the thickness of the oil-saturated layer located at the roof of the reservoir, hosatn – the thickness of the oil-saturated layer located at the oil-water contact, Kosat1...Kosatn is the oil saturation coefficient in this layer, Hosat is the summed power of all oil-saturated layers in the reservoir. Next, the depression coefficient Kdepr is determined using the formula: Kdepr = Psat/Pf, fractions of units, where Psat is the gas saturation pressure, Psat is the formational pressure. Then the perforation coefficient Kperf is determined using the formula Kperf = Kosat.w.av. * Kdepr, fractions of units. Next, determine the length of the perforation interval from the roof of the Nperf collector using the formula: Nperf = Kperf * Hosat, m. Then the production well is perforated taking into account the length of the perforation interval.

EFFECT: improved efficiency and reliability of the method for developing the oil-water zone of an oil field.
