FIELD: metrological support of photometers, research and determination of parameters of photodiodes proper. SUBSTANCE: voltage when current of photodiode is equal to half-value of previously measured magnitude is measured between leads of photodiode. Then idle running voltage is measured as well as temperature of photodiode. Algebraic values of current and voltage are registered. Value of photocurrent is evaluated by magnitude of current flowing trough photodiode at which resistance between leads-out of photodiode appears to be equal to magnitude determined by formula given in description of invention.
