FIELD: experimental aerodynamics. SUBSTANCE: aerodynamic load acting on model blown against by stream of gas and power action of nozzles of control elements are compensated for measurement of induced aerodynamic characteristics with due account of or ignoring thrust performance of jet control elements with the aid of thrust force of main and additional units of propelling nozzles. Compensation is conducted by control of pressure in precombustion chambers of main and additional units of propelling nozzles. Gear to measure aerodynamic characteristics of model has T-shaped holder which base carries tensobalance of high sensitivity. Its cross-piece has model and tensobalance of low sensitivity on one side of base and units of propelling nozzle on the other side.
