FIELD: experimental aerodynamics. SUBSTANCE: gear for angular and linear movement of model of aircraft in wind tunnel has bed carrying two guides made in the form of two protruding beams with additional guides in which carriage is mounted, drive of its translational movement, parallelogram mechanism formed by column, rotary platform, tie-rod and level, model holder and uniaxial joint supports of lever with stoppers installed on additional guides for translational movement. Model holder is attached to rotary platform, support is mounted for plane-parallel movement in flat guides made in end face of carriage, lever embraces cantilever part of bed and beam. In some particular case rotary platform is equipped with additional mobile base of model holder with guides and movement drive of mobile base. Rotary platform is knee-shaped and bed is provided with drive of its rotation, circular guides or rotary axle radially anchored in working part of tube which makes it possible to enhance precision of setting of model and reliability of taking of side loads and moments from aerodynamic forces.
